Dr. Heckard resides and practices in the beautiful Napa Valley with his family. A native of Napa, following high school, he served in Vietnam as an airborne Pathfinder for two years. Following his honorable discharge, he attended Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport Iowa. Playing Rugby for Palmer, he graduated in 1977. In 1978 he began active practice with his father Dr. Byron Heckard. In 1991 Dr. Bruce Heckard became the sole doctor of Heckard Chiropractic.
